Whilst previous Scope landing nets featured extendable handles to match the compact pack-down size of Scope rods, this latest generation takes mobility even further with retractable net arms that significantly reduce transport length without compromising performance on the bank.
At the heart of the design is an innovative fish-retention system. Once a fish has been safely netted, the handle can be secured to the ground using a Scope Butt Lock Peg (sold separately). The retractable arms can then be collapsed and secured using the integrated Velcro retention loop, to close the mesh around the fish. This creates a safe temporary retention system, allowing the carp to rest securely whilst preparing carp care equipment, organising photography or even getting a rod back into the water. The redesigned aluminium spreader block now features an overfit arm design, making assembly and pack-down quicker and easier than ever before. Both models feature lightweight 1K carbon handles with an extendable twist-lock mechanism, allowing the handle to be locked securely at any length The Sawn Off Retract version additionally benefits from a new slide-and-twist fitting system, providing even faster assembly than previous Sawn Off designs.
